摘  要：Homogeneous dynamics is a special kind of dynamical systems given by Lie groups. For

certain important cases, the systems are ergodic and hence the points with bounded orbits form a

set of measure zero if the space is noncompact. However, the behavior of bounded orbits reveals the complexity of the system and is related to problems in Diophantine approximation. In this talk, we will discuss some recent progresses of investigations in bounded orbits of homogeneous dynamics and their relations with Diophantine problems.

报告人简介：安金鹏，2006年博士毕业于北京大学，曾在瑞士苏黎世联邦理工学院、加拿大滑铁卢大学做博士后，现任北京大学教授，基金委优秀青年科学基金主持人，入选教育部教育部人才项目特聘教授青年学者。研究方向为李群作用、动力系统和丟番图逼近，在Duke Math. J.,  Adv. Math.,  J. Differential Geom., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc. 等学术期刊上发表论文20余篇。
